A senior executive at AEG Live said Miss Spears would add the city at the end of her current tour, the Circus Tour Secrets.
"Bringing Britney Spears to Dubai will be a massive hit - we can see all the communities getting into it and the show being an unprecedented sell out," said the source on condition of anonymity.The executive said the organizers could not release an official statement until all of the show's sponsors had been signed up.
"Britney is confirmed 100 per cent, it is just a matter of working out the finer details, getting all the promoters on board and happy." The official added: "An announcement will be made shortly. It's imminent."
