Britney Spears has allegedly told insiders she can’t wait to leave Oz and never come back. A source close to the singer - who plays Sydney’s Acer Arena tonight (Nov 20), before heading off to Brisbane - told the Chicago Sun Times: “She is very happy to be getting out of that country.” And it seems Britters might never come back once she’s wrapped the final night of her ‘Circus’ tour.

A source said: “It’s been hard for her. She’s never been subjected to this level of criticism before. She hadn’t had an easy year of it before all this.” The singer has been enjoying the sights of Sydney, nevertheless, and yesterday (Nov 19) took a trip around the Harbor in a private boat. One mole told us: “She’s licking her wounds at the moment after all the negative press. She just wants to keep her head down and be gentle on herself. ”

Meanwhile, Brit’s fellow Yank Michael Buble, who’s also in Oz, has jumped to her defense saying the criticism is “nasty” and telling Aussie media to give the poor girl a break. Michael told Melbourne’s Herald Sun: “You’d think she killed someone. Okay, she lip-synchs her show.

People know that, they make the decision if they want to go and see her do that. “Does she deserve the way she’s been completely bashed by the media here? No.” We agree, Buble. NEW BRITNEY ALBUM TO BE RELEASED LATE SPRING 2010

Britney Spears will release the follow-up to 2008’s Circus in late spring 2010, it has been confirmed. According to her record label Jive, the singer is working towards a May release for her seventh studio album. US songwriter Sean Garrett recently confirmed that he is penning material for the new record. The 27-year-old is also expected to team up with Max Martin, who wrote previous hits including ‘…Baby One More Time’, ’If U Seek Amy’ and current single ’3′.

After a rocky romance with paparazzo Adnan Ghalib and a devastating marriage to Kevin Federline, Britney Spears has found love with agent Jason Trawick — and her mother, Lynne, thinks he is The One, Us Weekly reports in its latest issue (on newsstands now).

“Lynne said, ‘He’s the kind of man you would dream of your daughter marrying. The kids love him, and he’s stable,’” a friend tells Us Weekly.

Besides his quick wit and ability to make her laugh in any situation, sources tell Us Trawick accepts Britney - drama and all.

“She has been honest with Jason about what she’s been through in a way that I don’t think she’s been with other people, and he always preferred to not sugarcoat the harsh reality of what happened to her,” says a pal. “He tells her when she should take responsibility for her own actions.”

The 27-year-old mother of two proudly showed off her killer curves during a recent Bahamas vacation, and it's clear to see there's not a single ripple of cellulite or fat on her fabulously fit figure. But her complete body makeover didn't come easy - or cheap, sources say.

Britney threw herself into rigorous workouts, stuck to a strict diet and splashed out a small fortune on plastic surgery and liposuction, along with a fully-equipped home gym. "Britney looks fantastic, but it took hard work as well as surgeons' skills to get there," revealed a source. "Britney was obsessed with looking like a hottie again, and after two kids, she had to really push herself. But she did it - and it cost her $350,000!"

Since July 2008, the 5-foot-5 singer has shed 30 pounds and dropped from a size 6 to a size 2. She also got a big head start by going under the knife, the source said. Britney had a mini tummy tuck, which costs about $4,500, and breast-lift surgery, which carries an $8,000 price tag, after her boys were born. She's also had numerous peels and facials for her acne-prone complexion.

The singer has also received a series of injections of a soybean-based medication to dissolve fat cells on her butt and thighs. Used in Europe for many years, the treatment cost $1,500 a session at a Las Vegas clinic, and Britney needed at least 12 sessions, according to another source.

The biggest step in Britney's makeover plan was to order up a $250,000 state-of-the-art home gym for her sprawling new mansion in Calabasas, Calif., said the source. "She also works-out with a personal trainer at a cost of $6,000 a month." A fast-food junkie, Britney also went on a strict diet prior to touring. "Britney cut out sugar, and ate fruit, fresh vegetables and baked chicken," said the source. "Britney was doing more than a thousand stomach crunches a day before the boys were born. Her goal now is to beat that record, but she's thrilled with the way she looks," said the source. "Her body looks hard and her stomach is flat, and she doesn't care how much it cost her to get there. She's proud of her body again".

BRITNEY IS "BEST FRIENDS WITH EX-HUSBAND KEVIN FEDERLINE"

Britney Spears and her former husband Kevin Federline have become best friends, according to her sister. Jamie Lynn Spears told Hello! Kevin, and Britney divorced three years ago, and Kevin has been taking care of the couple’s two children on the singer’s US tour. KEVIN FEDERLINE TO JOIN BRITNEY SPEARS IN EUROPE

Kevin Federline will travel across the pond to join Britney Spears on tour. It means the singer can continue to see sons Jayden James, 2, and Sean Preston, 3, when she heads to Europe in June. ‘They worked out an arrangement to facilitate her being able to go on tour without having to sacrifice her ability to see the kids,’ Kevin's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan tells E! There won't be any change in the custody schedule in Europe or anywhere she is on tour.’ Both Kevin, 31, and Britney, 27, are said to be pleased with the agreement. BRITNEY 'DEMANDS PRIVATE JET FOR UK TOUR'

Britney Spears has reportedly demanded that she be flown to Manchester in a private jet when she performs in Britain next month. The 'Womanizer' singer, who plays a mini-residency at London's O2 arena before doing a single night in Manchester, has refused to stay overnight in the northern city and will leave directly after the show.

"She has decided she will travel by private plane to Manchester - then fly straight back to London," a source told the Daily Star. Spears has reportedly detailed an extensive rider for her short stay in the country. "Britney may only be staying in the city for two weeks but she knows exactly what she wants," the source added.

Among the singer's demands are a room that has never been smoked in, fresh flowers that she will arrange herself, a variety of the latest magazines, DVDs featuring Marilyn Monroe and a selection of topical, chick-lit books. She has also requested horse riding and running sessions in Hyde Park and a different route to her venue each night to deter paparazzi from following her.

Justin Timberlake admitted to sleeping with ex-girlfriend Britney Spears on yesterday’s episode of Saturday Night Live (in so many words).

During one of the comedy sketches, the 28-year-old Sexyback singer poked fun at himself by playing a fictitious ancestor of his — immigrant Cornelius Timberlake — and predicting the future.

Justin spouted off, saying, “I’d like to think that at first, he’ll date a popular female singer (Britney Spears). Publicly, they’ll claim to be virgins. But privately, he hit it.”

He continued joking: “Then, he’ll make love with women so beautiful and so often that it won’t be enough for him and he’ll, I don’t know, try some stuff with guys. I mean, he’ll be straight! Forget that part! Everything is true except that part!"

“She’s keen on an oxygen chamber that will reverse any smoke inhalation damage.”Brit’s not the only celeb to indulge in the expensive device. MADONNA, MICK JAGGER and MICHAEL JACKSON all own one. But, unlike Britney, currently criss-crossing the US on her Circus tour, at least they use their voices a bit more of the time. Surely the Toxic singer would be better off just ditching the fags instead?

The former dancer and wannabe rapper was handed full custody of three-year-old Sean Preston and two-year-old Jayden James after Spears suffered a breakdown in January last year. The singer is allowed access to the tots, but while they live with him, Federline wants them to have the best environment possible - so he’s selling up his $7,500-a-month rented pad in Tarzana, and replacing it with a more family-oriented home in nearby Chatsworth. A source tells OK! Magazine, “He can rent a very kid-friendly ranch house there for half of what he’s paying now.”

BRITNEY REQUESTS A STRIPPERS' POLE FOR HER LONDON HOTEL ROOM DURING UPCOMING TOUR

The Britney Spears circus is well and truly underway in London. The Dorchester Hotel is already making plans for her arrival at the start of June. The singer has asked for a stripper’s pole to be installed in her favorite suite in the top hotel so she can work out between shows during the appropriately named Circus tour. Hardly the most orthodox request they’re likely to have received at the five-star hotel.

A source said: 'Britney loves pole dancing, it is her new favorite work out. 'She gets the toning that she needs without having to hit the gym, and she wants to be able to do it in the privacy of her own hotel room. 'Keeping fit on the tour is very important as her show is full of rigorous dance routines, so Britney likes to do her pole dancing work out every morning when she gets up.' The 27-year-old star, who is known for her love of 'good old-fashioned cuisine' (or junk food), has also asked for a cook from the Nando’s restaurant chain to be on hand for the duration of her visit to whip her up some spicy chicken when she feels like it.

The last time Britney was in town she gorged on Domino’s pizza instead of eating in any of London’s fancy restaurants. Britney is also planning a huge private shopping spree in Topshop while she is in town. She is making arrangements for Sir Philip Green to open the store especially for her and her dancers so they can stock up on a new wardrobe with no other customer vying for the bargains. Britney is set to perform eight dates at London's O2 Arena from June 3, before moving on to Manchester and continuing in Europe. The singer announced this week she would be expanded her UK and North American tour to the rest of Europe and hoped to include dates across Asia and Australasia.

Her last tour in the UK, the Black Onyx Hotel tour, came to a premature end when Britney injured her knee on a video shoot. She had also just started dating her now ex-husband Kevin Federline and told friends she wanted to end the tour so they could spend more time together. Meanwhile, the pop star has recently denied reports she was pregnant with her third child. American Idol host Ryan Seacrest claimed 'reliable sources' told him Britney, who is mother to Sean Preston, three; and Jayden James, two, was expecting. However, her manager Adam Leber said: 'She's absolutely not pregnant. I have no idea where this ridiculous rumor came from.'

FEDERLINE GIRLFRIEND CONFRONTED BY BRITNEY

Britney Spears has reportedly confronted ex-husband Kevin Federline's girlfriend Victoria Prince about her relationship with the star's children.

The singer apparently invited the couple for a dinner party at her house in Calabasas, Los Angeles, and issued Prince with a warning about her involvement in the two boys' lives. "Britney is still not happy that Victoria has been spending so much time with her sons," a source told Heat. "She wanted to make sure that everyone understood that she was the boys' mum and it was going to stay that way."

Despite the warning, Spears is said to have been in a relaxed mood during the evening. "It was Britney's idea to have the meal. After a bit of a onstage dust up during the Pussycat Dolls' Friday night gig in Phoenix, no less than Britney Spears herself -- for whom the Dolls are opening on the current tour -- acted as a mediator.

''Remember, business comes first. ... You can hate each other off-stage, but make it work on stage,'' a very reliable Spears source quoted Britney as saying. Things are increasingly tense between the Dolls.

Lead singer Nicole Scherzinger has been looking like she's poised to go solo, and other members of the group are unhappy about recent singles released as ''The Pussycat Dolls featuring Nicole Scherzinger.'' ''It's like a modern version of the old Diana Ross and the Supremes thing,'' said a music industry insider Sunday.

At Friday's concert, things got testy when the Dolls' Melody Thornton thanked the crowd in her Phoenix hometown for supporting her, ''even though I'm not featured!'' Spears thought that led to a ''downer effect'' on the rest of the Dolls set, and a negative lead-in to her own set, the Britney buddy said. We'll get a chance on Tuesday to see this up close -- and whether Spears' lecture had any effect -- when the tour arrives for two gigs at the Allstate Arena.

BRITNEY SPEARS TO GIVE FIRST LIVE SHOW IN RUSSIA

Fans get ready! American pop star Britney Spears is coming to St.Petersburg for her first concert in Russia. PMI, the organizers of the concert, say the venue is still being discussed. However, according to the official booking operator, the concert will take place at the ice hockey arena.

The date is July 19, and tickets are already available for preliminary booking. The performance in St.Petersburg will be part of Britney’s global tour “The Circus Starring: Britney Spears” launched in support of her latest sixth studio album, “Circus.” Britney Spears has decided to recreate the atmosphere of a circus at the concert: she plans to bring the action to the ring in the middle of the hall, and the audience’s places will surround it.

A special VIP zone will be constructed right next to the scene, offering a limited number of Love seats (sofas for two), the press-service of PMI reports. The show will be accompanied by a set of special effects, moving scenery, and screens. Circus actors will also be a part of the show. The tour was officially announced on December 2, 2008 to coincide with the release of Britney’s sixth studio album. Rehearsals for the tour began in January 2009, in preparation for a March kick off. “The Circus” has been named among the five best CDs in the charts of seven countries worldwide; 3,500,000 copies have already been sold.

BRITNEY'S CHOREOGRAPHY MIGHT BE CATCHIN' UP TO HER

The Britney Spears Circus Tour seems to be taking its toll on the Pop Tart. Britneys' choreography, which includes high-flying and spinning while being dangled from umbrellas, ropes, other dancers...you name it, has caused the singer to race off stage and vomit. We must all respect the Britney Resurrection and applaud how tough this girl really is. I for one understand her completely do to the fact that I can't even spin around on my own chair without getting dizzy as hell.

BRITNEY IS NOT READY FOR A RELATIONSHIP

Britney Spears is reportedly unable to commit to a relationship because she is still struggling to overcome her failed marriage with Kevin Federline. The singer, who is currently on her 'Circus' world tour, has allegedly laughed off constant speculation that she is looking for a serious boyfriend.

"[Britney] says it's going to take many, many more years to completely detox from being married to Kevin," a source told Heat. "She still says being Mrs Federline was the biggest mistake she's ever made." Speculation that Spears plans on marrying John Sundahl, who she has been linked with in the past, has been labeled "ridiculous".

"Britney doesn't want to do anything until the tour is over," the source added. "She wants press for her tour and not for an engagement. The idea that she'd actually want to marry someone is ridiculous." Spears releases her new single 'If U Seek Amy' on May 4.
