BRITNEYS NEW YEARS RESOLUTION

As I sit here fiendishly biting my nails, I got to thinking about New Years resolutions, and recalled Britney's recent GLAMOUR mag interview in which she opened up about her own resolutions. 'I would like to stop worrying so much, because I worry all the time. And to learn how to be happier, just in general. I have to learn to take things not so seriously. And to stop biting my nails!' Britney told GLAMOUR magazine. Although she admits: 'I end up breaking them. It's hard.' Well I have a genius solution for those of us who find resolutions impossible to keep (a.k.a. those with will power as lacking as mine.) Keep it simple... all you nail biters out there, allow yourself one fingernail to bite. Ha. Sure it'll look a little weird but while the others grow you can ween yourself off.

I feel like Dr Phil here. My advice is just as shabby. LOL. What are your New Year's resolutions, and do you think you'll be able to keep 'em?

This is so freaking funny. This picture is floating around the Internet and people really think it's legit!!! It's just a photo from Britney's "How I Met Your Mother" shoot altered by photoshop. This is all du to the really long article in Indiatimes.com about Britney's supposed trip to India. There's so much crap in the article that I just couldn't believe it. Check it out for yourself!!

He's kind of rude, so I didn't converse much with him." Sandip knew nothing of it at all? "Larry had said he wanted to fuel certain things about Britney and get promotion for the video which will soon be released in Asia and Australia. So I told him if you want to use something to fuel, it's okay, it's fine with me, not a problem, but if it's going to get a little too much, I don't want my life to get affected with it, you know," replied Sandip. When we mentioned the doctored picture, he said, "He's not even shown me what pictures he has." What about them "locking themselves up" for an hour, like ‘Larry' is suggesting? "We did, but for rehearsal," Sandip replied.

Britney got more media attention than anyone else for 11 weeks this year, meaning she earned the top spot on the index for the second year in a row. That coverage included everything from her infamous breakdown last January to her best-selling album, just released on Dec. 2. It’s just another feather in Britney’s cap, following her selection by PEOPLE readers as having the “best comeback” of 2008 as well as being the “most talked about celebrity.” Nipping at Spears’s heels on the index were Angelina Jolie (No. 2), Jennifer Aniston (No. 3) and the man they have in common, Brad Pitt. Paris Hilton and Anna Nicole Smith, meanwhile, dropped out of the Top 10 altogether.

The girl is desperate to get out of this! According to new reports from the National Enquirer, Britney hopes drinking allegations against her father Jamie Spears "will help her reclaim her freedom." Jamie, who is currently Britney's conservator, has ~allegedly~ controlled and manipulated every aspect of both Britney's personal and professional life in the last year after Britney's very public meltdown. In an effort to remove her dad from his position as conservator, Britney has reportedly come up with a plan to remove her dad from his (how is this legal???) position by claiming that he is an unfit supervisor due to his alcoholism and ~alleged~ recent drinking.

Jamie - who was originally named co-conservator of Britney, 27, in February following her public breakdown in January - will now be paid a staggering $75 for each hour he looks after the 'Womanizer' star, a Los Angeles court decided on Monday (December 22, 2008). The Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner also decided Jamie - who was granted permanent legal control over Britney, along with the Spears family's attorney Andrew Wallet, in October - should receive an extra $1,200-a-month as an expense account to keep an office where he will work on ideas for how to help Britney keep her personal life on track.

Home for the holidays! Despite reports claiming Britney will be taking the stage at the Palms on New Year's Eve in Las Vegas this year, Britney will in fact be at home with her two sons Sean Preston & Jayden James for the celebration. According to CBN.com Britney will spend time with the boys on New Year's Eve while Kevin parties it up in Las Vegas with new girlfriend Victoria Prince, a pro-volleyball player. A source close to Britney and Kevin told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Kevin has been getting on much better with Britney recently, so he didn't want to risk setting their relationship back by mentioning Victoria. "And he knows she's desperate to see the boys over Christmas, so he's letting her visit them at his home over the festive period. "He then added she could have them on New Year's Eve, as if it was a great favor." Score! Hopefully she gets them for Christmas too - God knows those boys don't need high daddy and his new whore girlfriend tagging along for that either.

AUSTRALIAN BRITNEY FANS WIN CONTEST TO MEET BRIT IN JAPAN

Talk about the ideal Christmas present! These two Australian Britney fans, Laura and Kleo, entered a contest to win the chance to meet Britney Spears. All they had to do was explain in 25 words or less why they deserved the chance to meet Brit (easier said then done when you're competing with a world full of fans)... but they won! The two gorgeous girls flew in to Japan from Australia, all expenses paid. They got to meet Britney and talk with her (video coming soon) and also met Larry, Wade, Amanda, the make up peeps and stylist and all the dancers before Britney's performance on NTV's Best Artist 2008. They took some pics on red carpet and got to watch Britney's performance up close. Oh, and we've been getting a lot of emails asking for the dancers' names, so since it's Christmas, and the time for giving.... the dancers' names from left to right are... Devin, Frances, Jose, Brooke, Alex and JP.

Britney Spears looked mostly at ease as she hit the road after casting dancers at a Los Angeles area dance studio on Sunday night. Britney was surprisingly with a mystery female instead of her usual assistant, and carefully checked her blind spot before pulling into traffic. With her first arena tour in five years set to kick off March 3 in New Orleans, LA, Britney is not wasting any time preparing for a show that manager Larry Rudolph promises fans to be “something they will never forget.”

Britney was spotted at the Peninsula Hotel earlier this afternoon with her boys Sean Preston & Jayden James for a quick getaway. Dressed in a red turtle neck and jeans, Britney (who looked visibly annoyed / upset) was chauffeured to the hotel briefly, then left soon after. After a few days of being M.I.A., she wasn't too pleased to see the paparazzi.

Gotta admit that people just looove gossip. When I heard this surreal rumor that Britney was supposedly dating Benji Madden, I didn't know if to say "Yeah Right!" or "What the hell did they smoke?"

According to In Touch magazine, Britney Spears has another lover in her life, and this time it is not a paparazzo or the backup dancer, but Paris Hiltons' former boyfriend-Benji Madden. Friends of the Womanizer singer say that they have been out in a few dates, and that even had dinner at luxurious Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, where they had a romantic dinner and fell in love for each other. (Don't know when to stop laughing really!!!) Another imaginary friend says that she likes Benji a lot, a mutual feeling that The Good Charlotte band member has.

GRANDPA SPEARS TAKES THE BOYS TO THE DOC

Joined by the nanny and a bodyguard, Jamie Spears took Britney Spears’ sons Jayden James and Sean Preston Federline to a Medical Clinic in Tarzana, CA this afternoon for a checkup. The two toddlers seemed happy hanging out with their entourage. Hope everything went well on the boys' checkup.

BRITNEY SPEARS LANDS SAFELY IN LAX

Following a weeklong trip overseas, Britney Spears was spotted arriving back at LAX Airport in Los Angeles from Tokyo on Wednesday (December 17). Looking calm and collected, the “Gimme More” singer made her way past security and lined-up paparazzi as she headed out to an awaiting car before heading home. Britney said that she had a lovely time as she promoted her new album “Circus” in Japan, as he wrote on her Web site, “I Love Japan! I think all the tiny cars are so cute!” Spears’ main reason for the trip was performing on the Japanese show “Hey! Hey! Hey!” though she took full advantage of her travels, sampling traditional cuisine and doing plenty of shopping.

They used the same song remix of the last performances, but this time the stage decoration was different but cool and she used a very sexy white hat instead of the usual black one.
